The Vallejo Family had their housewarming celebration this weekend and I had the honor of creating their invitations. My cousin Susie has such a beautiful family and they just moved into a gorgeous home with an unbelievable backyard. It was only right to capture their trees and stylish outdoor lighting in their invitation. Pardon my excessive use of adjectives, but I can't express enough how much I love their home! Susie and I brainstormed together about what details were important and our ideas vibed really well!
Being that I'm still learning Photoshop and all it's cool tricks, I really got to experiment with effects while creating the lanterns and tree. The carved family name was the perfect personal touch and I hope they loved their invites as much as I loved creating them. Everything from the food by the taquero to the sliced fruta that was served with lime and tajin to the hammocks that hung between the trees and the sangria that had the perfect bite to it, this celebration was one to remember. Congrats Vallejo familia!
PS. Graphic design has proven to be what I can lose myself in for hours without realizing it. I can't wait to share more designs by June Soul!
