You know how I feel #junesoulbyali
Brainstorming always brings me back to my roots. My god sisters are a big part of that. Our parents grew up together through activism, music, and Chicano theater. That is a huge part of my legacy and not by default but by choice. I know some of you remember or participated in El Teatro de los Pobres. We used to practice at the National Hispanic University that was over there on Story Road and perform at churches like Most Holy Trinity. A huge goal of mine is to start those productions back up.
Looking through some of my photos from last year. This was last June and Avery is already 7 months!
Sharice + Josue forever #junesoulbyali
Faith said yes.
So lucky to be a part of this surprise engagement 🧡
